Kochi: Congress-affiliated students organisation KSU has alleged that SFI activists of SN Law College in Kochi abducted their worker ahead of the college union election.

Praveena, a third semester student at the college, was kidnapped around 1 pm ahead of the polls as the organisations were in a tight race, alleged KSU. Both parties had won 9 seats each in the class representative elections.

Initially, police registered a missing case based on the complaint filed by KSU. “The accused will be booked under more charges and arrested soon,” said the Kochi city police commissioner.

Meanwhile, the SFI has not yet responded to the issue.
