Kozhikode: The KSRTC Swift bus plying between Thiruvananthapuram and Bathery route met with a minor accident at Thamarassery ghat road on Friday. No one was injured in the accident. The bus slid against a roadside wall at the ninth hairpin curve of the ghat road. The passengers blamed the driver for his negligence. Another KSRTC Swift bus had met with an accident at the sixth hairpin curve on the same ghat road the other day.
Several Swift buses have met with accidents since KSRTC launched Swift services. CITU union alleged that the KSRTC management is responsible for all the mishaps caused by Swift buses. The union said that inexperienced drivers were appointed for Swift services and urged to initiate probe into the issue.
