KSRTC staffer allegedly attacks plus two student for 'talking to girls for long time'

Thiruvananthapuram: A KSRTC employee has allegedly thrashed a plus two student at Poovar in Thiruvananthapuram. Reportedly, Shan, a student at Arumanoor school, was attacked for talking to girls. The accused has been identified as Sunil Kumar, controlling officer at Poovar bus stand.

The incident happened when Shan arrived at Poovar with his friends for Christmas celebration following term examinations at school. The KSRTC staffer beat Shan for talking with the girls for a "long time," noted the complaint.

It has also been reported that the KSRTC employee questioned the students when he noticed them at Poovar without uniforms and this ended up in a verbal spat and assault. Shan has lodged a complaint against Sunil Kumar at Poovar police station.

Any details regarding the case can be revealed only after a detailed probe, said police.
