Kalpetta: Kalpetta depot reinstated the KSRTC service to Mysore which was temporarily halted in view of the Covid spread, said MLA T Siddique. The trip has been conducted via Padinjarathara, 4th Mile, Mananthavady and Kutta.

The service was stopped following an order from Karnataka restricting passengers from Kerala. This troubled the travellers, especially students and farmers who undertake farming activities in Karnataka.

The MLA said that the service can be restored as Karnataka dropped the demand for compulsory RT-PCR results for entry to the state.
