Thiruvananthapuram: Employees of KSRTC will receive salary partially on Monday. The government initiated the process of getting Rs 30 crore sanctioned by the Finance Department on Monday. The total amount required by KSRTC for allocation of salaries is Rs 97 crore.
KSRTC is planning to use this Rs 30 crore sanctioned by the government to pay the salaries of conductors and drivers in part and then take an overdraft of Rs 45 crore and pay the entire staff by 20 of this month.
It was a salary-less Vishu and Easter for the employees of KSRTC. Transport minister Antony Raju will detail the method of distribution of salary.
