KSRTC driver takes bus to police station after drunk men misbehave with women

Parassala: A KSRTC bus driver was forced to take the vehicle to the police station on Tuesday irked over the misbehaviour of drunk youngsters towards women passengers.

The incident happened around 10:30 PM in the bus heading from Nagercoil to Thiruvananthapuram. A group of drunk youngsters who entered the bus was creating nuisance. When the bus reached Kuzhithura region in Kollam, these men groped the women. When co-passengers intervened to restrict the misconduct, the men were enraged and used obscene language. They reportedly tried to attack the passengers too.

Following that, the driver took the bus to police station. As the bus approached the police station, locals gathered outside police station. The youngsters were handed over to the police and the bus resumed service.
