KSRTC buses allowed to go from Nilakkal to Pamba
Pampa: The police allowed KSRTC buses to move from the parking ground and ES Junction at Erumeli. The first bus from Nilkkal to Pamba started at around 11 am. Earlier, the vehicle movement from Nilakkal was restricted by the police due to security concerns.
The devotees staged protest against the restrictions. Earlier, it was decided to allow KSRTC buses only by 12.30 noon. But since the protest by devotees intensified, police decided to allow the vehicles earlier.
The vehicles were allowed to enter Pampa only after thorough checking. Police have arranged tight security as part of allowing vehicles movement from Nilakkal.
Police had blocked the vehicles of devotees at parking stadium and ES junction at Erumeli and informed that the vehicles will be permitted only after they get nod from the senior officials.
The devotees said that the police promised to allow their vehicles and KSRTC buses after 10 am. Security was tightened in Pamba. Indian Reserve Battalion (IRB) has taken up the security of the path leading to Sannidhanam.
