Pathanamthitta: In an unfortunate incident, around 15 people sustained injuries after a KSRTC bus rammed into a car in Konni, Pathanamthitta.

The incident took place at 1.40 pm on Saturday. After ramming the car, the bus also crashed into the surrounding wall of a nearby church.

As per reports, the fast passenger en route to Thiruvananthapuram from Pathanamthitta collided with a car coming from the opposite direction.

The bus crashed into the church wall, and an arch fell over the vehicle when the bus driver tried to avoid ramming the car.

According to sources, the passengers in the car are natives of Aluva.

Among those who got injured, four were admitted to Konni Taluk Hospital, and the rest to General Hospital, Pathanamthitta.

According to locals, the KSRTC bus driver and a female passenger were seriously wounded, and others escaped with minor injuries.
