Thiruvananthapuram: KSEB has approached State Electricity Regulatory Commission with a request of levying Rs 15 paise per unit as fuel surcharge from customers.

KSEB’s move is aimed at coping with the extra expense met from its side due to fuel cost hikes in the periods October 2021-December 2021, January 2022-March 2022 and April 2022-June 2022.

The Commission has decided to go for public consultation over the matter. Interested individuals can either attend video conferencing or send a letter to raise their opinion. For more details read KSEB’s media release.
