KPCC allocates party responsibilities; VT Balram in charge of Youth Congress

Thiruvananthapuram: The Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC), in consultation with the All India Congress Committee (AICC), has allocated duties and responsibilities for officer bearers on Saturday.

VT Balram has been given charge of the Youth Congress and TU Radhakrishnan is in-charge of the office.

Others and their responsibilities: N Sakthan (Rajiv Gandhi Panchayati Raj Sangathan), VJ Paulose (Karshaka Congress), VP Sajeendran (Mahila Congress, Devaswom Board), K Jayant (along with KPCC president), KP Sreekumar (Thiruvananthapuram), Pazhakulam Madhu (Kollam), MM Naseer (Pathanamthitta), Mariapuram Sreekumar (Alappuzha), MJ Job (Kottayam), Joby Sebastian (Idukki), S Ashokan (Ernakulam), AA Shukkoor (Thrissur), BA Abdul Muthalib (Palakkad), PA Salim (Malappuram), KK Abraham (Kozhikode), Alipatta Jameela (Wayanad), PM Niyas (Kannur), Sony Sebastian (Kasaragod), GS Babu (Seva Dal), Aryadan Shoukath (Cultural Committee), Deepthi Mary Varghese (Media), Professor KA Thulasi (Unit management system), KA Chandran (INTUC) and G Subodhan (Local bodies).

Meanwhile, Dr P Sarin has been appointed as the digital media and digital platform convenor replacing Anil Antony, who resigned from the post following uproar over his comments on the BBC’s controversial documentary.

VT Balram has been given the charge of digital media as he is a KPCC office bearer. The digital media cell will also include BRM Shafeer, Rahul Mamkootathil, TR Rajesh, Nisha Soman, Veena S Nair and Tara Tojo Alex among others.
