Kozhikode: A class-10 student was found dead here, suspected to be from a lightning incident, on Sunday evening. The deceased is Muhammad Azain (15), a Puthiyangadi native.
Azain left his home for the playground on his bicycle at around 4 in the evening. Locals found him lying on the ground and rushed him to the hospital. His body is currently at the medical college mortuary.
Kozhikode witnessed incessant heavy rain on Sunday. Azain was a student at Karaparamba school.
