Kozhikode: A police officer was found dead at his residence in Ulliyeri. Senior Civil Police officer Baju of Elathur police station had allegedly killed himself on Saturday night.
Though his relatives immediately took him to a private hospital in Ulliyeri, his life could not be saved. The body will be handed over to the family following post mortem from Govt Medical College in Kozhikode.
Police hinted that personal issues might have triggered the officer to take his life.
