NIT Kozhikode

Kozhikode: National Institute of Technology in Kozhikode has released a circular prohibiting students from public display of affection. The institute issued the moral policing circular after receiving several complaints from outsiders accusing the behaviour of students.

The circular strictly restricts public display of affection within and outside the premises of the campus. It also asserted that such acts are adversely affecting studies of other students and causing discomfort to the onlookers.

The authorities have warned disciplinary action against students who violate the instructions in the circular.
