Feroke: A man stabbed his wife to death with scissors at Kodampuzha in Kozhikode. The accused Lijesh (37) killed Palakkad native Mallika at his residence on Thursday at around 8.30 pm.
Lijesh is the second husband of Mallika. Quarrels were reportedly common occurrences among them as Lijesh was irked to see his wife going for a job. He also created ruckus regarding Mallika’s child in her first marriage. A similar dispute had ended up in the crime, informed police.
Mallika and Lijesh have two children, aged 6 and 3.
Feroke police nabbed Lijesh late at night on the day of the incident.
