Kozhikode: A man was found dead inside his shop at Vadakara in Kozhikode on Saturday night. The deceased has been identified as Vadakara native Rajan, a vendor.
Rajan’s family spotted him dead when they reached the shop in search of him as he did not return home even late at night.
The jewellery worn by Rajan and money kept in the shop have been found missing. Police have started an investigation to find whether Rajan was murdered amid a robbery attempt. A forensic team has also visited and inspected the shop.
