Aswin
Kozhikode: A couple was allegedly harassed and attacked on Sunday while they were commuting on a bike after watching a movie in Kozhikode.
The incident happened around 10.15 pm. Cheruvannur native Aswin and his wife were traumatised by the assault which happened in the city limits.
According to Aswin’s statement, a five-member gang followed the couple on two bikes from the Christian College traffic junction. They allegedly began to eve-tease Aswin’s wife and later thrashed him when he questioned the gang’s misbehaviour.
Following the incident, Aswin lodged complaints at Nadakkavu police station and City Traffic police station. Police summoned Aswin and recorded his statements.
