Kozhikode: A 76-year-old man, who was undergoing treatment at Kozhikode Medical College after suffering injuries over his son’s alleged attack, succumbed. The deceased has been identified as Thiruvambady native Sebastian.
The alleged attack happened on March 31. According to locals, both Sebastian and her wife Mary were beaten up by their son Abhilash, who was drunk. The locals reportedly came to know about the act the next day. They along with panchayat authorities and police took the weak and injured couple to the hospital.
Sebastian had severe injuries in the head region and he succumbed. While Mary has suffered injuries at her spine, said reports.
Police already recorded statements of the duo. Further details are awaited.
