Kozhikode: The K-Rail will have to republish the gazette notification to restart the Social Impact Survey of SilverLine semi high-speed rail project in the district. The survey numbers in the already published notification were found wrong. This has to be corrected before restarting the survey.

The survey was stopped as certain wrong numbers were published and some other numbers were missing the gazette. The new notification will take at least two weeks more as the numbers have to be verified with record in the village offices.

As the alignment in Elathur village is to be changed, a separate notification will be published.

The length of the SilverLine track in the district is 74.65 km. Out of this, 7.9 km is in underground.
