Kozhikode: Kalanthode region of Mukkam here on Friday witnessed a clash between college students and locals. The clash left 13 students injured who took treatment at Primary Health Centre in the locality.
According to reports, students who clashed with locals are from MES college. The incident happened afternoon. The clash was reportedly over parking vehicles on the roadside.
The locals had a verbal spat with students over the allegation that the they stopped vehicle on road. Amid this, one among the locals allegedly thrashed students and threatened them with a knife. This ended up in a clash.
One student reportedly suffered an injury on his hand from the knife attack.
Students maintained they were attacked without any provocation from their side.
