Koodathai murders: Crime branch to summon complainant Rojo Thomas
Kozhikode: The Crime Branch has decided to summon Rojo Thomas, the complainant in the Koodathayi murder case and brother of deceased Roy Thomas. It is reported that CB has already asked Rojo, who is in USA, to come to Kerala.
The complaint from Rojo resulted in reopening the case and the disclosure of the shocking murder series.
Rojo, who was in Kerala last month, collected details of the deaths of his family from Thamarassery police through RTI applications. He then filed a complaint with Rural SP. Once K G Simon took charge as Vadakara Rural SP, the probe restarted and attained many crucial developments. The statement of Renji, Rojo’s and Roy’s sister, was recorded earlier.
Meanwhile, Crime Branch summoned Sili’s siblings and uncle to SP office for questioning. Shaju had earlier told police that Sili’s relatives had compelled him to marry Jolly. But Sili’s relatives denied this claim. They were summoned to clarify these details.
Also Crime Branch decided to send the remnants of the bodies exhumed for more scientific examination. DNA tests of the family members will be conducted to identify the reason of deaths. Mitochondrial DNA Analysis would be conducted which will be tested in USA.
