Kollam: Police arrested a youth for sexually assaulting a minor girl in Kollam district. The accused is 19-year-old Alvin, residing near Thangassery Bishop’s house.
Alvin, who acquainted the girl, raped her in the night after arriving at her house. Later, the girl was found to be pregnant when she sought medical aid for stomach pain.
The accused was arrested based on the complaint lodged by the survivor at Kollam West police station. He was remanded after producing him in the court.
