Kottarakkara (Kollam): A man killed himself at Neeleswaram here after murdering his wife and children. Rajendran (55) of Poojappura house stabbed to death his wife Anitha (40) and children Adithya Raj (24) and Amruh Raj (20) on Monday.
Rajendran is an auto driver. Adithya is working as a salesman in a nearby shop. His friends discovered the bodies at his house when they came looking for him as he did not turn up at the shop.
Adithya's body was lying in the central hall. Amruth and Anitha were seen in the bedroom. The machete used for murder was discovered from the house. The bloodstains were washed off. Neighbours said that the family did not have any financial problems.
The police assumed that the householder murdered others and killed himself. Kollam Rural SP arrived at the spot. Bodies were taken for postmortem after the inquest.
