Kodiyeri alleges RSS plot against Jayarajan
Thiruvananthapuram: CPM state secretary Kodiyeri Balakrishnan has alleged that there is a planned move behind making P Jayarajan an accused in Kathirur Manoj murder case.
"Jayarajan was made an accused after the RSS chief paid a visit to Kochi. Some persons met Mohan Bhagwat during his visit and requested him to make Jayarajan an accused in the case," Kodiyeri alleged.
"The CBI did not take over two murder cases in which CPM men were victims and RSS workers were accused. UAPA was not invoked either. No probe was conducted into the conspiracy behind Vinodan murder and Preman murder. Senior BJP leaders had taken part in the conspiracy.
"However, the Oommen Chandy government is protecting the RSS leaders. There will be consequences to invoking UAPA against Jayarajan. He was wrongly implicated in the case to ensure that there are no CPM leaders for election campaigning," Kodiyeri alleged.
