Kodakara black money case: BJP leaders fail to appear for interrogation
Thrissur: BJP leaders did not appear before the probe team for interrogation in connection with the Kodakara black money case. They informed the probe team that they would not be able to appear for questioning.
The BJP state leaders were directed to appear before the Crime Branch in connection with the incident in which Rs 3.5 crore was looted from a car by plotting a fake accident in Kodakara.
BJP state organisational general secretary M Ganeshan and state committee office secretary were served notice to appear before the probe team.
Senior officials had arrived for questioning. The party leaders informed the probe team that they need two days time as it is difficult to reach Thiruvananthapuram for the interrogation.
The investigation team had already summoned BJP district general secretary KR Hari, district treasurer Sujay Senan and party central area secretary G Kashinathan for evidence collection. Soon after this, the state leaders were served notice.
