Kodakara black money case: BJP Alappuzha treasurer being quizzed
Thrissur: The probe team is interrogating BJP Alappuzha district treasurer K Gopalakrishna Kartha in connection with the Kodakara black money looting case. Probe officer ACP V K Raju is interogating him regarding the robbery of Rs 3.5 crore.
The interrogation is taking place at the police training centre in Alappuzha. The accused who were arrested earlier and the BJP leaders who gave information had told the police that the amount was to be handed over to Kartha.
Gopalakrishna Kartha had talked over phone several times with RSS worker Dharmarajan who sent the money. The police found out that they had talked over phone on the day of the robbery too.
BJP state organizational secretary Ganesh and office secretary Gireesh who were summoned by the probe team did not inform when they will appear for interrogation.
They were served notice showing that if they failed to appear before the probe team within two days, they will proceed to further action. Though they were summoned prior to this, they did not appear for quizzing.
