Kochi: According to information revealed by the Ernakulam Rural SP K Karthik, stalker Rakhil in the Kothamangalam Manasa murder case, sourced country-made pistol from Bihar and spent around Rs 35,000 to purchase it. He added that the team from Kerala is continuing their investigation in Bihar and will return only after gathering more evidences.

The SP revealed that Rakhil collected the pistol from Sonukumar Modi, who has been arrested by the special team from Kerala. Sonu was produced in front of the Magistrate and the team has received a transit warrant, he said. However, further procedures regarding the transfer of Sonu to Kerala is yet to be finalised. More evidences are to be gathered and the team will return only after that.

Meanwhile, SP pinpointed that Bihar local police cooperated well with the team from Kerala. He said that from providing transportation facility to arranging accommodation, the local police in Bihar was very prompt in supporting us.
