Kochi: Police have intensified their probe against Kochi-based celebrity makeup artist Anez Anzare following a `MeToo' allegation levelled against him. It is learned that he has left the country after a number of his clients came forward with complaints of molestation. They alleged that he misbehaved during their bridal make-up.
Later, the police registered a case against him and initiated a probe. Following this, police raided his make-up studio in Palarivattom in Kochi.
Earlier, City Police Commissioner CH Nagaraju received the complaint via e-mail from three young women living outside Kerala. A case was registered based on two complaints while police will examine the third complaint in detail.
Anez mobile phone is switched off. It is suspected that he had fled to Dubai. His bridal make-up studio is quite famous for hosting several celebrities and has several branches.
