Ansi Kabeer, Anjana Shajan, Accident scene
Kochi: In the mystery regarding the death of former Kerala beauty pageant winners, the details procured from the mobile phones may render more evidence. The police have not responded over the investigation based on the information collected from the mobile phone. Allegations are being raised that the involvement of a senior officer in the case is leading to confusion and indifference.
Police claim that the deceased and the hotel owner Roy Vayalat were acquaintances. However, the information connecting them with Roy’s friend Shaiju Thankachan is yet to be found. The phone calls made just before the accident may solve the conundrums.
It was Shaiju who called and informed Roy about the accident. Along with this, the phone call details of the other suspects may help in investigation.
Roy had introduced the women to Shaiju during the party. A hotel employee informed mathrubhumi.com that Ansi Kabeer and friends stayed in the hotel till 12.15 am after the party that ended at 11.30 pm. He also said that they were talking with Roy and Shaiju when he saw them for the last time at reception.
Unclear autopsy report
It is alleged that the post-mortem was not conducted with utmost seriousness. Samples of blood and urine were not been collected from the corpse. The blood test was necessary to determine whether they were drunk. The urine samples were also not sent to find the presence of any synthetic drug. Though such tests are usually conducted in similar kind of deaths, autopsy of Ansi and Anjana were completed without undertaking them. It has been alleged that someone’s intervention might have led to the negligence in the post-mortem.
