KNA Khader attends RSS programme; IUML may take action

Kozhikode: Muslim league leader KNA Khader has triggered a fresh controversy by attending a programme of RSS. He attended an event held at the office of RSS mouthpiece 'Kesari'. However, Khader justifies that the programme was not organised by RSS and he attended for upkeeping 'communal harmony'.

"I have always stood for communal harmony. I spoke about its importance in the meeting, especially in these times," Khader said.

However, angered by repeated controversies caused by Khader, Muslim League is likely to take action against him. MLA MK Muneer said that his actions were against the principles of Muslim League.

"Party was not informed about it. We will seek an explanation," he said.

Earlier, during the assembly elections, Khader had said that Muslim League will help to fill the applications to prove citizenships if Citizenship (Amendment) Act of 2019 was implemented.
