Thiruvananthapuram: Vadakara MLA KK Rema has filed a complaint with the cybercell of the Kerala Police against Balussery MLA KM Sachin Dev.

She alleged that Sachin spread defamatory comments on social media in relation to the ruckus in the Assembly earlier this week. This is the first time that a MLA in Kerala has complained against another MLA with the cyber cell.

Sachin, who sits a few seats away from me, opted to spread misinformation online instead of asking me in person about what happened, Rema mentioned in the complaint.

According to Rema, the MLA's Facebook post about her injury inside the House questioned her integrity. She also demanded that the post be withdrawn.

Sachin on March 15 shared two images of Rema from the day of the ruckus and claimed her injury was faked. He mocked at her in the post.

Rema said his followers later took up the post and shared it widely.
