Kollam: When the Kollam district sessions court is all set to pronounce the quantum of punishment to Kiran Kumar in Vismaya death case, another audio clip of the deceased has surfaced. The audio clip of Vismaya’s telephone conversation with her friend has come out now.
In the audio clip, Vismaya was heard describing the torture she has been facing from her husband. In the phone conversation on her first wedding anniversary, Vismaya told her friend that Kiran restrained her from contacting her mother
She also disclosed to her friend that Kiran used to beat her demanding more dowry.
Vismaya was heard weeping while talking about her plight during the phone conversation.
Vismaya’s phone conversation:
“Only 70 sovereign gold was given due to the COVID crisis. A car worth Rs 10-13 lakh was also given to him. He used to say that being a government employee he would get more dowry. I am tensed always. He phoned my mother and restricted her from contacting me. He used to beat me up and shower abusive words against me. He is not satisfied with this relationship,”
