Kochi: Kerala Film Producers' Association (KFPA) imposed a temporary ban on actor Sreenath Bhasi, who is facing a police case for verbally abusing an anchor during an interview. Meanwhile, the actor will be allowed to complete the ongoing projects.

It is learned that the actor apologised for the mistake and vowed he would not repeat it. However, the producers' association decided to go ahead with a ban.

Earlier, the actor and director of the film ‘Chattambi' was asked to appear before the association on Wednesday.

On Sunday, Sreenath Bhasi was arrested by Marad Police based on the complaint lodged by the anchor of the online channel. He was later released on default bail.
