Thiruvananthapuram: In a bizarre incident, a series of brawls between two groups led to an all-out fight inside a house in Attingal. Several people, including women, were injured in the clashes between the two groups. The incident took place around 8 pm on Saturday.

As per reports, two clashes erupted between the groups on Saturday. The first incident took place in front of the house of Vellur native Gargi who has nothing to do with both the groups. As the confrontation intensified, one of the men ran into Gargi's house to escape from the assailants. Following this, both groups barged into the house and attacked each other inside the house.

It is learnt that enmity between Afsal and Vishnu led to the violence. The house witnessed a violent clash after Afsal provoked Vishnu by using foul language.

Though both groups left Gargi's house, Vishnu and his gang later stormed Afzal's house and attacked him and his family. Afzal's friends also came there this time.

Afzal and his mother were beaten up by Vishnu and his gang. Nagaroor police reached the spot and nabbed the assailants as informed by the natives. Twelve people, including teenagers, were arrested in connection with the incident.
