Wayanad: The Bathery Judicial First Class Court on Wednesday rejected BJP state president K Surendran’s plea seeking permission to conduct his voice-matching test at a laboratory under the central government over the election bribery case.
Earlier, Surendran's claimed that the test conducted at a lab in Kerala is not reliable. Therefore, Surendran demanded that a voice-matching test should be conducted at a forensic lab run by the central government.
Meantime, The crime branch team collected the voice samples of Surendran, CK Janu and others at the Kakkanad Chithranjali studio. According to the reports, the district crime branch will soon conduct a voice-matching test in the wake of Surendran's demand being rejected by the court.
