Kochi: Kerala Janapaksham leader PC George on Tuesday has raised a sharp criticism against actor Joju George for his involvement in the skirmish amid protest against fuel price hike that led to the Actor’s car getting vandalised by Congress workers in Vytilla. PC George asked whether the actor would die if he had to wait in the traffic block.

"DYFI members who used to get actively involved in several issues are now keeping themselves quiet. This is because they are scared of Pinarayi Vijayan. Observing this situation, the Congress workers decided to protest against the increasing fuel price,” PC George said.

Taking a dig at the actor, he added that Joju George took to the streets like a mental patient.

"If you support Joju, then you may support the assassination of Mahatma Gandhi. Joju is like Godse. Police should register a case against him," he demanded.

PC George also claimed that Joju George lied that a woman and child were waiting in an autorickshaw during the road blockade.

“If there was a woman and a child, the congress members who were in the vicinity would have helped her out. There was not even an ambulance there at that time. The strike was publicly announced a day before. Therefore, why should somebody bother enough to go to the area despite knowing that there would be a traffic jam?” he added.
