Kuttanad: In an unfortunate incident, two people were killed after a goods auto fell into a waterlogged field here on Tuesday. The deceased have been identified as Binu from Veliyanadu and Ratheesh from Changanassery.
The bodies were found when locals searched the waterlogged field and saw the indicator of the auto still flickering underwater. No one noticed the accident as heavy rain continued in the area.
The deceased were fishmongers and the accident took place when they were on the way to Binu's house after selling fish on Monday.
