New Covid guidelines: Work from home for pregnant women, restrictions to public functions

Thiruvananthapuram: Pregnant women employees of government offices have been exempted from attending offices in the wake of a spike in Covid cases. They will be required to work from home.

All programmes in government, semi- government institutions, public sector organisations and cooperative sector will have to be conducted online.

The entries of malls shall be restricted to a person for 25 square feet.

Only 50 persons will be allowed in the cultural, social and community programmes in the districts with a test positivity rate (TPR) of above 20 per cent. Special permission has to be obtained for including more people in functions.

No public functions can be conducted in the districts with TPR rate of above 30 per cent.
