Employees asked to promote Bevco's social media pages

Thrissur: Kerala Beverage Corporation has instructed employees to promote beverage corporation through social media platforms since beverage advertisements are banned in the country. The authorities have directed the employees to be socially active and promote the beverage products through social media.

The target was to increase the likes on the BEVCO Facebook page from the existing 624 likes to 3000 likes before Monday. A message shared on Whatsapp group of employees claimed that those who fail to promote the beverage corporation will be seen as unloyal.

Meanwhile, employees are reluctant to follow the order and alleged that using social media to promote beverages is socially irresponsible.
