Kochi: A woman who visited the Aluva police station to lodge a domestic violence complaint alleged that CI Sudheer had threatened her too. She told Mathrubhumi News that the CI, who faced public scrutiny in the suicide of Mofiya Parveen, refused to take her statement or file an FIR and forced her to leave the station.
“I went to the station with the complaint around 4 pm on Saturday. However, the CIA did not record my statement or take any action on my complaint. After being kept at the station for hours, I was threatened and asked to leave the station. Later, my statement was taken and they filed an FIR. But, when I requested for a copy of the FIR report, he refused ” she said.
The woman revealed that she saw Mofiya Parveen when she returned to the station on Sunday. “Mofiya arrived at the station looking very upset. She came out looking troubled and worried. The girl and her father were treated very badly. The CI would have misbehaved to her as well. I didn't hear anything clearly because I was outside the building,” she said.
She also added that the woman cops were not present when she arrived to lodge the complaint.
