Heavy rain to continue in Kerala till Monday:IMD

Thiruvananthapuram: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast heavy rain across different districts in Kerala till November 8. Strong winds and lightening are also expected. IMD has issued an yellow alert in different districts from November 6 to November 8.

The low pressure developed in the Arabian Sea causes the heavy rain.

Yellow Alert

November 6, Saturday: Pathanamthitta, Kottayam, Idukki, Palakkad, Malappuram, Kozhikode, Wayanad, Kannur, Kasaragod

November 7, Sunday: Pathanamthitta, Kottayam, Idukki, Palakkad, Malappuram, Kozhikode, Wayanad, Kannur, Kasaragod

November 8, Monday: Palakkad, Malappuram, Kozhikode, Wayanad, Kannur, Kasaragod

Meanwhile, in hilly regions, isolated heavy rains with lightening is likely to occur.
