Kochi: Low pressure area has formed over the Arabian Sea and the Bay of Bengal. The low pressure areas are formed near Lakshadweep coast in the southeast of the Arabian Sea and the southeast of Bay of Bengal.

The low pressure is likely to move in west-northwest direction and reach the Andhra Pradesh-Odisha coast in the next 24 hours.

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted heavy rain in Kerala till October 17. Isolated rainfall is likely in all districts of Kerala in the next three hours, they informed.
