Kozhikode: BJP leader K Surendran has come out against Congress leader K Muraleedharan for criticising Kerala Governor Arif Mohammad Khan. K Muraleedharan did not get Kerala as dowry, said Surendran in his Facebook post.
“Kerala was not given to Muraleedharan as dowry. We have not given attention to Muraleedharan’s father K Karunakaran too. We do not pay heed to all these threats,” says the FB post.
Muraleedharan had threatened Kerala Governor Arif Mohammad Khan who had said that the resolution of the assembly against the Citizenship Amendment Act is valueless. He also warned the Governor that he cannot walk on the streets if he does’nt resign from his post. Murali said this was the second freedom fight and CAA is against the people and against democracy. Many people have moved the apex court challenging its stability, he said.
Kerala Governor Arif Mohammad Khan had at the Indian History Congress at Kannur came out in support of the Citizenship Act. The Governor defended the BJP-led government against CAA.
