Kerala to receive isolated heavy rainfall; IMD issues yellow alert for 4 districts

Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) on Monday shared weather predictions for the next five days.

According to the IMD bulletin, Kerala is likely to receive isolated heavy rainfall.

IMD has also issued a yellow alert for five districts. They are:
April 24: Kollam, Pathanamthitta, Idukki
April 26: Pathanamthitta
April 27: Ernakulam

Earlier today, IMD notified that the state is likely to continue witnessing thunderstorms or rain for the next 3-4 days. Heavy rainfall is expected at isolated places in Kerala from April 24 to 27, it said.

The weather update comes at a time when many parts of the state have been witnessing soaring temperatures.
