Thiruvananthapuram: Actor turned politician Suresh Gopi has made references to Sabarimala controversy ahead of the Local Self Government polls this year.
The Rajya Sabha MP made an indirect reference to the controversy while speaking to the media at Thiruvananthapuram. He made the statement in response to a question regarding both the political fronts stuck in political controversies.
“It is not clear how the investigations will turn out and what will be the consequences. However, I am a big believer in God. There is someone who will not let anyone walk free. I am not a candidate and so I can place my hand over my chest and say - My Ayyan, My Ayyan”, Suresh Gopi said.
There should be a favourable sentiment towards BJP among the public in Kerala. There will be great administration wherever BJP comes into power in the state. That is what other parties are afraid of, he said.
Suresh Gopi also added that this election is an opportunity for the public to destroy their enemies.
