Thiruvananthapuram: Health Minister Veena George said that the state has run out of Covid vaccine stock. No vaccine doses are available in several districts including Thiruvananthapuram. Hence, vaccine will not be available in many districts on Tuesday.
Compared to the national average, Kerala’s vaccination rate has been high. On the basis of population too, the number of people who received the first and second doses of vaccines in Kerala remains high.
After July 18, state has received more doses of vaccines compared to the previous stock. The latest updates regarding vaccination are given from the Health Minister’s office. As sufficient stock was availabel this week, more people could be vaccinated, informed the minister.
