Thiruvananthapuram: The district collector has declared a holiday for all educational institutions including private colleges on Saturday following incessant rains. The India Meteorological department (IMD) has issued a warning of heavy rainfall in the district.
However, the examinations scheduled on Saturday will be conducted as schedule.
IMD has forecast heavy rain of 64.5 mm to 115.5 mm within 24 hours till Sunday. An yellow alert has been sounded in the district on these days.
