Minister Mohamed Riyas
Thiruvananthapuram: Minister PA Mohamed Riyas said that the Public Works Department is willing to take over the repair works at National Highway.
At least 10 letters were sent to the NHAI citing the necessity of repair works and National Highway development so far, said the minister. “Interventions have to be made for improving roads, whether from the Centre or State,” he added.
The repair works of the roads as per the directions of the High Court have been initiated in the state. Minister said that he will meet Union Minister Nitin Gadkari and minister V Muraleedharan to discuss the issues.
