CPM slams Congress over personal attacks against CM

Thiruvananthapuram: CPM has urged Congress leaders to stop the personal attacks against Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan. The left party criticised the Congress leaders for attacking the people who are honestly serving as politicians.

Some statements of the leaders hint the deterioration of Congress. The statement of KPCC working president Kodikunnil Suresh against Chief Minister’s family is the latest example , criticised CPM.

In an official statement, CPM secretariat questioned whether Sonia Gandhi and KPCC leadership support MP Kodikunnil Suresh’s attack against CM.

Chief Minister, his office and his family were unnecessarily dragged to gold smuggling case. But these attempts to defame CM did n’t yield any results. Allegations were also raised against CM for not conducting press meet. CM had asserted that he avoided press meetings due to the assembly session and Onam, added CPM in the statement.

The CPM criticised that Congress is attacking CM for covering up the issues within their party.

“ The problems with in the Congress ae out in the open. They can’t hide it. When Congress leaders are attacking CPM in a heinous way, they must keep in mind that we can attack them in the same way. But it is not our manners. they should remember that people are watching them,” noted CPM in the statement.
