Kochi: More cases are likely to be registered against Saiju M Thankachan who chased former Miss Kerala Ansi Kabeer and runner-up Anjana Shajan in an Audi car before they were killed in the road accident.

The Crime Branch received information that Saiju has threatened many women. They are planning to file cases against him after getting written complaints from these people. Photos of many women have been found from Saiju’s phone. The probe eam is trying to identify these women also.

The ones who attended the DJ party with Saiju have been recognized. They will be questioned. The video of the DJ party that Saiju recorded has been found on his phone. The statements of the women who attended the party will also be taken.

Saiju was taken into custody on Sunday. The police found condoms from his luxurious Audi car. It is hinted that he targeted women who arrived at the party. His links with drug dealing will also be investigated. Saiju’s custody period is till Tuesday.

The investigation team revealed that the accused is not cooperating while questioning. Saiju was taken to the No 18 Hotel in Fort Kochi and evidence was collected.

Account details will be investigated

The investigation is expanding to friends’ circle of Saiju. His Audi car was bought for Rs 20 lakhs as a second-hand vehicle. The source of the money is being investigated. Saiju's bank account details will be investigated as well.

Attempt to recover deleted chat

The police are trying to collect information from Saiju’s phone. He used to send all invitations for the DJ parties via social media. The possibility to retrieve such chats is also being explored.
