Thiruvananthapuram: Considering the surge in the number of Covid patients and the test positivity rate in the state, a review meeting will be held on Monday. The meeting presided by Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan will commence at 11 am.

The government is planning to impose strict restrictions and strongly implement the Covid protocol. Owing to the spread of the Omicron variant, it had been decided earlier to reduce the number of people allowed to attend all functions including weddings and funerals.

As per the present rules, 150 people are allowed to attend functions held in open areas and only 75 people are allowed to attend functions held indoors.
